Exclusive Mercedes-AMG One Hypercar Hits the Secondary Market

In an unexpected turn for automotive enthusiasts and collectors worldwide, a Mercedes-AMG One, the highly coveted hypercar known for its groundbreaking integration of Formula One technology into a road-legal vehicle, has made its way onto the secondary market. Initially limited to a production of just 275 units, this engineering marvel has surfaced for sale at First Motors, a premier exotic car dealership located in Dubai.

Despite the original buyer pool being restricted to 275 lucky individuals, a black Mercedes-AMG One with a mere 33 kilometers on its odometer has been listed for a staggering AED 17,900,000 (approximately $7.5 million AUD). This price point reflects a significant premium over its initial offering, which was set at $2.72 million USD ($4.2 million AUD), before accounting for any options or taxes. The steep markup underscores the vehicle's rare status and the intense demand among high-net-worth individuals and collectors.

At the heart of the Mercedes-AMG One lies a formidable powertrain, a 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 engine paired with four electric motors, yielding a combined output of 782kW. This hybrid setup enables the hypercar to achieve a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2.9 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in seven seconds, with a top speed of 325 km/h. Its prowess was notably demonstrated when Mercedes-Benz test driver Maro Engel clocked a record lap time of 6 minutes and 35.183 seconds at the Nurburgring, securing the Mercedes-AMG One's place as the fastest road-legal production vehicle to date.
