Oh yeah, and Ford says it's documenting it as part of an online series.

In case you forgot, the Ford Mustang GTD is a road-going version of its GT3 race car. This machine has a heavily modified rear suspension, a rear transaxle, and a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 in front of the driver, under the hood.

Ford hasn’t revealed full pricing but said that it’ll start around $325,000. That might be a lot of money, but Ford claims that over 7,500 people in North America applied for their chance at owning one of these limited-production machines.

As for its European itinerary, the Mustang GTD will debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, make a stop at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and hit the Nürburgring before the end of the year. The company says that it will make an officially timed lap of the Nordschleife in the fourth quarter of 2024 but didn’t give an exact date.

Ford hasn’t outlined what we can expect from this online series but did note that it plans on diving into the car’s components and engineering. Hopefully the series is similar to the documentary that showed off the Focus RS’s development from a few years ago.
