The 2025 Infiniti QX80 introduces a new generation that's instantly more competitive versus other full-size luxury SUVs. Along with grander styling that foreshadows future Infiniti models, the new QX80 trades its old V-8 for a twin-turbo V-6 and adds myriad tech-centric features.
The new QX80 is quickly identified by its imposing front end, which features distinctive LED daytime running lights and a grille with an illuminated Infiniti logo.
The new QX80 is an inch longer overall than before, and it's also a few inches wider and a couple inches taller.
The QX80 has smooth body sides thanks to flush door handles. Its giant proportions are complemented by large wheels measuring up to 22 inches.
The QX80's full-width LED taillights mimic the design theme up front, and altogether they perform a welcome sequence when drivers unlock the vehicle.
The new QX80 is loaded with more driver assists than before, including lane-departure warning and an available hands-free highway driving mode.
The QX80 no longer offers a 400-hp naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V-8. Instead, every model is powered by a new 450-hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6.
Not only does the new Infiniti QX80 now feature electronically assisted power steering, but all except the base model have adaptive dampers and a height-adjustable air suspension.
The new QX80 has new camera technology, such as Front Wide View and Invisible Hood View. The former puts a 170-degree image on the dash displays, and the latter reveals obstacles directly in front of the SUV.
Infiniti says the name of its new design language, which makes its debut on the 2025 QX80, is called "Artistry in Motion."
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 will go on sale sometime this summer, with prices ranging from $84,445 for the entry-level model to $112,590 for the top-of-the-line Autograph.
