The new 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid is powered by an advanced 3.6-liter flat-six engine, replacing the previous 3.0-liter unit. Unlike its predecessors, the engine features a single electric turbocharger augmented by a 14.7 hp electric motor to reduce turbo lag, providing a seamless and responsive driving experience.

In addition to the turbocharger motor, the hybrid system includes a 32.6 hp traction motor positioned between the engine and the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, powered by a 1.9 kWh battery located under the front hood. This setup results in a total output of 534 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque, delivering substantial performance improvements over previous models.

Built on the updated 992 chassis, the Carrera GTS T-Hybrid features active aerodynamic flaps at the front, wider tires, and a rear-axle steering system for enhanced handling and stability. Despite the hybrid additions, the car's weight has increased by only 50 kg, bringing the total to 1595 kg.

Alongside the hybrid variant, Porsche has also refreshed the standard 911 Carrera. It retains the 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine but now includes an upgraded intercooler from the Turbo models and turbos from the previous GTS, increasing its power to 389 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque.

The 2025 Porsche 911 lineup offers various configurations and price points. The base Carrera model starts at $122,095, while the entry-level Carrera GTS T-Hybrid begins at $166,895. This hybrid model is available in Cabriolet, all-wheel drive, and Targa versions, catering to a wide range of preferences.
